Lucy's POV
I slid towards Charles, widening my left eye. “Huh? Did I just hear you well? Which room will she stay in?” Eric dropped to the ground, squatting and placing his hands on his head in confusion. For a moment, he couldn't rise.
“What's really going on, can you tell me?” He called out to Charles. “I thought it's only me to attend this meeting with Alpha Kang? What am I hearing now?” He shook his head. As we both dropped our frustration on Charles, he was drifting backward in fear, he couldn't handle the situation. I could see his legs shaking, before I knew his hands, then the file and pen in his hand dropped to the floor. I grabbed his hand.
