Lucy's POV
Alpha Eric slowly shifted his furious gaze to me, making me freeze.
“And you, do you think this is funny?”
“I'm so sorry, Alpha.” I lowered my head in respect. I didn't want to hurt him further knowing I'd already hurt him, my eyes were closed as I was trying to avoid gazing into his furious eyes. I was imagining what to do after this to make up for the sins of my past when I felt warm hands engulfing me. Slowly I opened my eyes, lifting my head only to find Eric by me.
I stepped backward in shock. “What–what are you doing?” I managed to ask, feeling my knees weak and shaking. “What is he trying to do now?” I asked myself when he dashed me closer to his chest holding me tight.
