Lucy's POV
“What took you guys so long, were you making out with each other?” Caroline growled, looking at us with suspicious eyes. Eric looked away shyly, covering his face with his hands. I brushed them off laughing at him.
“Are you shy? You don't have to be shy.”
I burst out laughing at how Caroline could get so funny, not minding if my mate is the Alpha or not. “I'll get ready to officiate the remaining items in the party's events and the cutting of the cake which would signal the end of the party.”
“Well wishes will follow.” I suggested.
“Yes, and lovely kiddy cakes for your kids. They can take it to school tomorrow, they will absolutely love it.”
“Wow, you're such a cutie.” I stretched my hands, giving Caroline a tight hug. “You're a great friend, a darling.”
