“What's this woman trying to do?” I wondered what she was up to right now. It recreated in my mind how she tried to pull off and leave the room when I was insisting to know the secret she was talking of.
“I want you, Eric. I'm in love with you, Alpha.” Her eyes grew dull and lost in desire as she whispered these words to me. “But it seems each time I'm coming close to you, you seem to pull away.”
