He left her in an instant, feeling as if he had been hit by a huge rock or Iker's heavy blows, or worse, repeatedly hit by the former student who had been struggling to abandon him a few seconds before. Oh s**t! Manuel stared at her, dumbfounded. Carmen stared back at him, her dark green eyes swirling with emotions, her mouth slightly open and swollen, her dress almost opens exposing tinted skin almost as pink as the blush on her face. Her fingers itched almost instantly, he internally cursed himself. His best defense was the offense. - Will you make me repeat what I said? I asked you what the hell you were doing. She blinked and slid off the bed, her dress creaking making him look back at a slightly exposed leg ... creamy looking luscious ... he fiercely slammed the thought of her away. She continued to look at him. - You have no scars. - What? - There are no scars at all. He realized that she was talking from her face, with another curse inside him he immediately slid her mask back into her place and tried to look at her. - You're off-topic Carmen. What are you trying to achieve by seducing me like that? Her eyes widened and her head almost jerked back, even though he was staring at her he decided to slide off the bed in case she got into another of her infamous tantrums. Which he did almost predictably and glared at him. - What did you say? - I think you heard me the first time. - But what ... you ... that's not ... I ... - Carmen, if you're trying to seduce me again by stuttering ... - It was you who caught me and kiss me, senseless i***t! - She said furiously approaching, she stopped in front of him lifting her chin and looking at him defiantly. Manuel didn't back down, instead, he moved a little closer to her. - You didn't protest- he replied softly. Her faces were close to her now, a few inches, something more and they would be as before. The closeness and her words made her blush and she instantly drew back slightly. She grunted and tried to look harder. - You took me by surprise, she was irritated and sleepy! And ... It should hit you right now! But she didn't come near and he almost sighed in relief at that. - It wasn't my fault, I didn't know that ... I thought I was dreaming. She remained silent and instead left her bedroom and into her living room, she sat on the couch sadly. He hated seeing her sad, he cautiously followed her and tried to cheer her up. - Hey, I never said it was your fault, we will be grateful that I did not ... progress more, okay? She - she tried to laugh. - Well - And I'm sure it only happened because you couldn't resist my charms. He just dodged the pillow she threw at him, she was so predictable. - I'm kidding Carmen, can't you take a joke well? - He laughed. - You're an i***t! - Do you usually call your teachers idiots? - No, it's reserved just for you. - You flatter me- Unable to resist he gave her a masked smile. She simply continued to stare at him with waves of energetic frustration. - You are impossible Manuel! - So, if it's not for seduce me ... what brings you here? She looked at him almost blankly, then as if she came out of a trance her eyes widened, she jumped off the couch with one hand on her mouth. - Oh s**t! I forgot it! Camila asked me to tell you to go to her office right away. It's supposed to be urgent and ... damn we lost minutes ... but once again, you'd probably still be late I guess. - That is a fact. - You are an amazing man... - Really? Carmen must have realized how she sounded because she turned red again and he thought her blush was beautiful ... she sighed herself and she really must leave such thoughts. - I didn't mean it that way ... I ... just ... oh never mind! - Am I making you stutter? She asked in a low, husky voice. - Not! I ... is ... is not ... - Yeah, I'm making you stutter. - In your dreams! Testing the waters Manuel got even closer. His eyes immediately darted up to him. - I have to go! I still have tasks at the hospital and ... and I train later and ... you better not be too late or she will be angry and I would be in trouble. And before he could comment or even take a step closer to her, she was gone. He ran as fast as lightning out the door and hit her in the process. The walls shook a bit, but that was to be expected. Manuel laughed and didn't know why, but the action amused him. She was always funny when she was nervous and that was how she was before she left in such a hurry. He looked around her and saw that at least he hadn't thrown things around the room when she'd gotten drunk the night before, he knew how strange Carmen was and would practically be at her throat for living in such a state. untidy. It's not that she wasn't close to her throat before, if only she would let the encounter continue ... Oh damn, leave it at that! - He growled in his mind which was processing some distracted visions about what she could have been doing with her throat if things had happened ... Forbidden... FORBIDDEN! He shouldn't even consider going there ... no, f**k he can't go that way. Manuel's head turned towards the open bedroom and her bed, he shook his head from her, if he went there he would smell her and that would lead to listening to her and imagining her ... it's not a good idea. She was still sleepy, but really ... what was a man supposed to do after such an encounter? With a sigh, she went to the bathroom concentrating on a cold shower, after that rummaged through her closet if she was in order. It seems like it was time to change the sheets. He'd be damned if he slept on the couch tonight especially with the smell of him there too.
