When Carmen woke up on that bright, sunny morning, it wasn't the terrible hangover, the sound of birds, or even the glimmer of sunlight that first caught her eye. It was the smell that did it. She was snuggled into something warm and soft and covered around him, from neck to toe. With his eyes still closed he allowed himself to be pleased, as even the headache he had acquired could not attenuate the small, satisfied smile that had suddenly crept onto his face. She inhaled. Something cottony smelled of something spicy and woody, so fresh and so inviting at the same time. A more special scent than anyone. She smelled exactly like him. Now maybe if she could...
