We are in the middle of preparing for our next journey when my phone rings.
I dive to grab it from the bed before it stops ringing. It's the person I have been waiting for to call.
I feel anxious about this call, I didn't know if I should be excited or not.
I pick up the call and Malik leaves the room to give us some space. Such a gentleman if you ask me.
“ Hey babe!” She doesn't sound as excited as I know her. If anything she sounds drained.

“ Tell me what is going on Jade.” I ask, my voice is laced with worry for my friend.
