A lot of the thoughts go through my mind as I see it's wild black eyes. Its growls and I tremble. My mind screams for me to run but my legs stay rooted as I freeze. It takes a step forward and I take one back, as if luck isn't on my side a twig snaps and I find myself falling to the ground. The fear that courses through me has me freezing, my mind tells me other things yet my body won't just respond. The wolf growls and it's ready to attack.
I close my eyes and hold my hands over my ears. My life flashes before my eyes. I wait for the impact and it doesn't come. Instead I hear more growling and wolves fight. I slowly open my eyes and I see Malik’s lycan fighting the wolves. It takes him two more strikes the wolf is down.
I sigh out in relief, I didn't think I would survive that.
