Ella is still suspended in the air and I try my best to reach her, to bring her down. The energy she is giving off is powerful such that it makes it hard for me to even get close to her.
The door bursts open and it catches my attention. Her grandma strides into the room taking angry steps. She is hissing with anger. She glares at Ella who is still in the air. She raises her hand to strike her down and that is when I act.
Throwing myself I push her away and drop to the floor with a hard thud. She groans finally acknowledging my presence. She stands up and we face each other.
