We are seated by the porch talking about random things. Dario has his hand over Jade's thigh while he gives me an easy stare.
The atmosphere is tense. You could cut through with a knife. I don't know if Jade notices this or not.
“ So Ella, tell me about where you were staying before you moved here.” Dario looks at me attentively.
He leans back into his chair and relaxes. I am beginning to think I am the only one who is tense.
