The cool breeze and the chill beer calmed me somehow. The anticipation was growing by each second.
"Nervous?" David asked placing his palm over mine.
"I can't wait any longer" I complained.
"He'll be here soon. I'll leave you guys. I'll be in the car" he said sipping his beer.
I gave him a nod and walked out of the car. I sat by myself on the green sheet of grass and looked at the moon. It was so bright in the night sky that it reminded me of the good times I had in my life.
