Chapter 9

I came out from the bathroom, looking over at my neatly made up bed. No sign of the mess, I noticed my door still cracked and still couldn’t stop the anxiety I felt. I walked over and opened my door, peaking down towards my tea room where we just came from. “Looking for someone?” I heard Oliver’s voice from the opposite of the hall and jumped. He chuckled and pulled me back into the room as he walked in closing the door, wrapping his arms around me. “Sorry, I wanted to get rid of the mess before bo was informed by your maids.” He stated. I laughed at what he said, causing him to look at me funny, “You’re staying with me tonight. I’m sure it’s not hard to put it together when we come from my bedroom, I don’t want you to sleep elsewhere. My parents are dead, who’s he going to report to... me? He’s a butler.” I said staring him straight in the eyes. Oliver nodded his head, locking my door once more. I laid my head on his chest, a heavy feeling on my chest.  Oliver lifted me into his arms, placing his hands under my thighs and carrying me over to my bed. Laying down, inter-wined with each other, he moved he thumb gently across my cheek.  “Morning will be here soon, my love.” He said gently pulling back my covers. I curled up next to him, wrapping my arms around him. - A loud knock at my door scared me away, Oliver jolting up as I shook him. The sun was beaming through my curtains, birds chirping load. “RYLIE?” I heard bo call out in a concerned voice, I rubbed my eyes and yawned. “Yes bo? I’m still in bed” I called, not wanting to get up yet. “Yes madam,” he started to called back, hearing relief in his voice that I was here. “Is Sir Kowi still here? I can go call him for breakfast.” My face flushing with his last question, Oliver grabbed my hand and whispered “you don’t have to say I’m in here.. I can wait in the tea room once he goes down..”  I shook my head, I’ve made up my mind long ago and knew I wanted him here with me, all the time. I never wanted his scent to leave. “Yes bo, I will come down with him shortly.” I called, the silence that followed felt long before I heard his feet shuffled, “yes madam.” I heard him call out as he heard toward the steps. Oliver’s arms wrapped around my waist pulling me into him, he nuzzled himself into me. My heart racing as my bare skin ignited against his. His lips taking mine, holding onto me tight. I moved myself against him, wrapping my arms around his neck. He chuckled against my lips, as he broke our kiss. “Later.” He whisper with hot breath against me before laying another kiss on me, “we are being waited on.” He finished, throwing the covers from us and sitting up.
