Tara Ellis reviewed the MRI preliminary report on the screen in front of her one more time, clicked the approve button, and then signed out of the electronic medical records.
She leaned back in her swivel chair and let out an exhale. Thank goodness her shift at the New York hospital as the on-site attending radiologist for the overnight float was finally over. Though it’d been a busy one, Tara and her senior resident had handled the cases so efficiently they’d been on-track to finish the call on time.
