CHAPTER 6 Rex approached a free agent at the rental counter. “Good morning,” he said. “I’m here to pick up my car.” The agent, a young lady in a black T-shirt and pants gave him an appreciative glance. “Good morning, sir,” she replied. “What’s the name on the reservation?” “Rex Dexin.” “Thank you.” She typed in some information on the computer in front of her and then frowned. “One minute please.” She turned to her colleague on the right and whispered some words to her. Rex observed the exchange. Was something wrong with the booking too? He hoped not, since he had to meet up with the guys soon, before the wedding ended.
