CHAPTER 18 Rex stood beside the SUV and surveyed the house in front of him. It was a large, single-level home made of stone and log just like the main house but with an attached garage. Flower hedges lined the entrance instead of a full-blown garden like the one he’d seen at Dex’s. Rex was glad for it—he definitely had no green thumb.
