Our Human Luna

Chapter 7

POV Olivia – September 8

After spending an hour with Liam, Lucas, Meghan and her brother, the doctor walks back in my hospital room. “I’m afraid the visitors need to leave right now. The Luna needs her rest, tomorrow she can leave” he says. I hear a soft growl coming from Lucas, but everyone. Standing in the doorway the twins look over their shoulder “we’ll pick you up tomorrow morning and then we’ll go for a walk if that’s alright with you?” I nod, my eyes heavy with sleep. As I’m exhausted, I fall asleep only a couple minutes after everyone leaves.

When I wake up the next morning, it’s still dark outside. But with all the thoughts running through my head, I can’t fall asleep anymore. Yesterday after I woke up in the hospital, Meghan walked in with her brother and the twins I met the other day in Biology class. Turns out, Meghan was actually telling the truth. Werewolves do exist! They spend an hour explaining to me about their life’s and everything there is to know about werewolves. Then, they also explained what the mate bond means, and that I’m mated to the Twins who also happen to be the Alpha’s of the most powerful pack of Europe. Me being their mate means that I’ll be their Luna. I still don’t know what’s that supposed to mean, or what I’m supposed to do but I’m planning on asking them. They said, they would pick me up today, right? So, then I’ll ask them

Right after sunrise I hear a knock on the door, followed by the Twins entering the room. My heart skips a beat at the sight of them. “Are you ready to leave?” Liam asks. I nod and follow them outside, walking past the doctor’s office where Callum waves and us with a nod as a sign it’s okay for me to leave. Me and the Twins walk towards the forest, I look around me taking in the peace and quiet. It’s so different from my past life in the city. “How are you feeling?” Lucas looks at me with a concerned look on his face. I take a deep breath “I won’t lie, I’m still trying to process everything you guys told me yesterday.” Both boy’s nod understanding, and Lucas pulls me in to a hug. When he touches me, sparks shoot through my body, and I wish we could stay in this moment forever.

“I do have some questions though” I start. And I fire all the questions I have left about me being their Luna and mate at them. The three of us sit down next to a small stream. The Twins taking their time to answer each of my questions. Three hours later, I know everything I wanted to know. “Uhm… Liv?” Liam asks in a soft tone. I hum in response and look him in his gorgeous blue eyes. “We know, it might be fast. But you’re the one we have been waiting for our whole life. You’re our destined mate, our Luna. It might feel a little different to you, but you are our whole world. And we would be really happy if you decided to move in with us.” 

.I look at him, speechless. Did he just ask me to come and live with them? Even though we’ve just met I don’t need to think twice about my decision. “I would love that!” I say with a huge smile on my face. “I barely know you two, but the both of you make me feel safe and loved. And I feel this pull towards the two of you which I don’t understand. But it makes me feel like I never want to leave you again!” The second the words come out of my mouth I’m pulled into a hug, nearly crushed by Liam and Lucas.

Walking out of the forest, the boys are guiding me towards the pack house. The place I’ll be living from now on. When we enter the building I see some pack members in the Livingroom, they start whispering when we walk past. The Twins seem to ignore them, and they show me around. 

Once we get to the third floor. There seems to be another Livingroom and kitchen. “This is the Livingroom where only the Alpha, Beta and Gamma are allowed. And of course, their mates and families.” Liam pauses for a second “you have already met our Beta, Aiden. He’s Meghan’s brother. His mate is Savannah, I’m pretty sure you’ll meet her soon!”

“And who is this young lady?” I hear a voice coming from behind us. I am startled and turn myself in the direction of the voice. There I see a guy standing, probably the same age as the Twins, at his side a girl, probably in her late teens. “Caleb!” Lucas growls “you scared your Luna!” The guy’s eyes widen in surprise “the two of you found your mate! When is the Ceremony?” My eyes shoot back to my Twins “Ceremony? What is he talking about?” I ask. Liam gives me a reassuring look “we’ll talk about that later! It’ll be fine! Don’t worry.”

“Well, I must introduce myself” the guy says “I’m Caleb. The Twin’s Gamma. I am responsible for the training of all our pack members.” Caleb says before letting go of the girl beside him and pulling me into a tight hug. Liam and Lucas let out a loud growl to which Caleb immediately lets me go. The girl he came with chuckles while grabbing my hand and pulling me away from the boys, who are currently shooting death glares at each other.

“Don’t bother” she laughs “boys will be boys! I’m Emma, Caleb’s mate. I’m looking forward to getting to know you better. As the boys are really close, me and Savannah have been close as well. And now you are joining us!” she says excitedly 

After hanging out for a couple more minutes, Caleb heads out to go back to the training fields and Emma follows after her mate. The Twins both grab one of my hands and they continue showing me everything. “So, on this floor we have a Livingroom and kitchen. Like I said, only for the top three in command. And Aiden and Caleb have their bedrooms here with their mates. There are more rooms available for when they will have kids.” Liam explains.

At the end of the hallway there is another staircase which leads up to the top floor. “Finally, we have the fourth floor. The Alpha floor. This is where we live! Our parents recently moved to their one house further on the pack lands.” The boys each show me their bedrooms. “Now you’re here, the three of us will move to one of the rooms down the hall. That one is much bigger, so the three of us will actually fit in the same bed.” Liam finishes the tour.

Even though, it might sound weird. I couldn’t be happier about the three of us sharing a room. And before I realise it’s night-time and I’m laying in the King size bed in between my Alpha’s
