Chapter 11

POV Liam – September 16

Walking down the stairs, I think about the amazing night my brother and I had with our mate. As we walk into our office, I hear a scream before Aiden and Caleb walk over to Lucas and me and wrap the both of us in their arms. “You’re marked” Aiden says with a huge smile on his face. “So, when’s the Luna Ceremony?” Caleb asks. “It’s already planned” my brother answers our gamma “but please don’t bother Liv with it. Mom will help her prepare for everything, but Liv is really insecure and worried about it” On the exact moment Lucas finishes speaking our mother reaches to us over mind link. “Have you seen Liv?” the worried tone in her voices makes me snap my head in my brother’s direction. Mom must’ve linked us both because my brother does the exact same thing. “Guys, what’s going on?” Aiden carefully asks, probably feeling the worry my twin and I are feeling. I don’t respond to him and neither does Lucas because I hear him speak in my mind, linking me and our mother. “She went to meet with you. She left our room about an hour ago, why?” Our mother’s next words make my heart skip a beat “because she isn’t here yet. I thought she was still with the two of you. I didn’t want to disturb but we must get started with the planning.”

I look at my brother whose face whitens. “We need to find her” he murmurs under his breath. He looks at our friends “find Liv! I don’t care what it takes, everyone needs to pause their activities and search for their future Luna!” he commands. Then he runs out of the office, pulling me with him. “Where could she be?” I link him. He looks at me, but his eyes glaze over. “I don’t know, can’t reach her. But she’s upset about something. I can feel her emotions!” I nod, because I can feel her emotions as well.

POV Olivia – September 16

“And that’s why I came here” I finish explaining Meghan why I showed up at her house crying my eyes out. “Liv” my best friend softly speaks “I love you and I’m here for you whenever you need me. But you need to talk to the twins. They are your mates, and they’d do anything for you to make you happy.” I look down at my feet “I know, but I don’t want to hurt them.” Meghan places a finger under my chin and lifts my head up so she can look me in the eyes “you could never hurt them! Please call them before they hurt someone else trying to find you!”

I take a deep breath and try to link them, but I can’t seem to reach them. I look at Meghan “I can’t. It’s not working” She giggles “you really need to practice more on the mind linking. I’ll them you’re here!” Her eyes glaze over for a minute before settling back. “They’re on their way!” “Are they angry? What did you tell them?” I ask her, jumping of the couch where I’ve spent the last hour and a half. “Calm down, Liv!” Megan says while she pushes me back down. “I told them you’re here and why. They’re just relieved that you are safe!”

Five minutes later we hear a loud bang on the door. Meghan chuckles while she walks to the door. She opens it to reveal my very worried mates. The twins push Meghan aside and run to me. “Thank goddess, you’re safe” Liam says while he pulls me up and into his strong arms. I sigh, the feeling of his arms around me makes me feel safe. He pulls back and steps aside, his brother immediately taking his place. “Never scare us like that again” Lucas places a kiss on my head. I shake my head and the tears start running. “I won’t” I answer them sobbing. Now, they both wrap their arms around me as they draw circles on my back with their fingers, trying to calm me down. “Please don’t cry, love” Liam starts, and his brother finishes his sentence “we hate to see you cry.” I pull myself out their embrace and wipe my tears away. “Can we talk?” I ask them. Lucas nods “of course, let’s get back to our room. You can take a bath and when you’re calm again, we’ll talk.” I nod, wrapping my arms around them again. “Thanks!” my voice is barely a whisper. “Let’s go!” Liam says. Lifting me up in his arms, walking to the front door. “Put me down!” I yell, trying to get out of his arms. When he puts me down, I walk over to Meghan, hugging her tight. “Thank you!” She hugs me back “no worries. Go talk with them and when you need me, I’m right here!” I feel the tears coming back up again when she spins me around and pushes me towards the twins. “Take care off her! Or I will kick your asses” I hear Lucas growl in response which makes me chuckle and I pull him outside. “Stupid Alpha wolves” I say quietly but unfortunately for me, they must’ve heard me. Because suddenly my feet get of the ground, and I’m tossed on someone’s shoulder while they both start running towards the packhouse.
