"Report what this man has done to Mr. Warner! What he's done is libellous!" exclaimed Matthew, who still didn't accept what Danny had said.
"You gave me a good idea, Mr. Huxley," said Mr. White.
Matthew glanced sarcastically at Danny, and his lips twitched to say,' Mampus.' Then Grandma Huxley's favourite grandson laughed.
Denis White immediately answered Mr Warner's call and was very friendly and polite. "Mr. Warner, you called me personally; this is a surprise! I was planning to call you on Monday to discuss company expansion issues. I have a good plan for you."
"Mmm, Mr. White, you didn't bother to call me or discuss your plans. I am contacting you because I want to break the news of your termination. Come to the office on Monday to collect your final paycheck!"
