Conference Talk and Aliens

“I’m home”, I yell as I close the door and start to undress out of my uniform, into comfy shorts and a large shirt. After convincing me not to tell anyone about my dreams, Ren just...left. Why did he behave so suspiciously and tell me not to say anything to the girls… I am already confused enough with the place being the EXACT replica of the place i dream about every damn night, forget that, we just TELEPORTED into another space. That in itself is out of this world.
“Ughh...thinking too much about this will make me lose my mind” I mumble as I walk into the kitchen to start preparing dinner. My parents are both still at work, so preparing dinner and cleaning is something that always falls into my hands, but I like to do both anyways, so I put in my headphones, start with cleaning and after that with dinner. I still have enough time before the girls call so I lose myself in work and not think excessively about THAT incident, well, or at least try to. By the time I finish with dinner, my little brother arrives home and shortly after my mom also arrives. I don't hear her or register her arrival at all but I can always kind of feel when one of my family members comes home so when she tries to surprise me from behind i just say in a monotone but smiling voice “Welcome home, mom!” My mom stops right behind me, her hands in the air right before covering my eyes, “How do you always know when i try to surprise you, your intuition or 6th sense is scary '', she says while laughing and smooching my cheek.
We both laugh and immediately after, she also gets into her comfy clothes and helps me with getting the table ready. “And how was your first day of high school?”, she asks while putting the dinner onto the plates. “Nothing special, just introductions and plans on how this year will go, you know just the usual basic stuff, pretty boring” I say, leaving out the incident because how am i even supposed to explain that.. She looks at me for a split second not convinced at all, she can read my mind for sure, is what i think. I can't lie at all in front of her and she knew that something was up but I try to behave normal and she just shrugs, “Well I am happy that you guys are all in the same class anyway, I talked with the other moms! We will all meet for tea on the weekend!” she says excitedly and we talk about her day and ask my brother about his day at school. Just as mine, super normal and boring but he was excited to be back and see his friends.
After dinner my mom relaxes and watches her favourite drama, while my brother just disappears into his room, “definitely not gaming, doing school stuff” is what he states. At around 7.30 pm my dad also comes home, exhausted and hungry. I plate him some dinner and tell him a short summary of my day. Afterwards, I quickly hurry and shower myself, mentioning to my mom about the girls' talk and wishing her and my dad goodnight. After getting into my Pj’s and brushing my hair, my phone rings and I look at the watch, it’s 8pm, the girls are calling and I jump into my bed. “Soooo let's get started with the discussion!!”, Yuan-Ha declares, not looking funny at all with her panda mask and unicorn onesie.
“What was that...THAT place?” Mauve and Lorelee ask both at the same time. “It looked like some kind of castle and I am a hundred percent sure it is not a place from our world! I literally googled the whole afternoon away, searching for glowing castles, white castles, other dimensions, teleportations...etc...if my parents see my google search history, they might think I'm back in my fantasy friend phase!” Jul says exasperated. “Well one thing is for sure, we were the only ones that saw that place. The hall was packed with students, but nobody really responded, even to us vanishing for a second?” I say, still trying not to laugh at Yuan-Ha, and her panda mask. “The place did seem kind of familiar, like as if i saw it in a dream once…” Jul says and I flinch, did..did she also have those dreams like me? Did she also see the white person in front of the castle? Those numerous glowing white people? I want to tell them everything, but I remember Ren who said not to indulge them into this secret...so I kept my mouth closed and only said, “It felt familiar for me too..”. “YEAH me too, me too!! Yu says. “Same here”, Mauve sighs. “Yeah same…” Lorelee states.
“What if they were aliens trying to contact us but in reality tried to rob us from earth as experimental subjects???” Yuan says exasperatedly, i can't take this girl seriously with that mask on… we all just started abruptly laughing and i can see Yuan pouting, mumbling that she meant this seriously, but she also starts to laugh. Pretty sure we are all just nervous and trying to hide it, but laughing it out helps. “If anyone has any other ideas, then feel free to share them.” Yuan says.
There is a brief silence until Jul breaks it by saying we should leave this talk as a secret for now and see if something like this happens again. Mauve offers to go to the mall tomorrow after school to make a small mind map of what we all remember, so we have a better overview about everything. about the place and what we saw in our dreams before…what should i do? When she said that, i flinched and tried to make it looks as if my phone fell of my hand so they wont notice. If I tell them that I know this place pretty well, that I have been seeing it for years, everyday, in my dreams…what will they think? What should I do...
