In the beginning, there was nothing. Total darkness, but then the light came. Ying and Yang, Moon and Ocean, Evil and Good. Over the centuries, decades, and billions of years, they were always opposites, antagonists you might say because, if one was not there, they could not live without the other. Over time they shaped with the living into human forms and were bestowed kingdoms of their own, where they watched over their people and help maintain balance in the human world. They were given ultimate power and became Rulers of their Kingdoms. The Shadow and Light Rulers of their Kingdoms, this title was given to someone who holds more light and darkness than anyone else in their soul, who puts himself last and is benevolent, a true Ruler one might say. The Light warrior, someone who fights alongside the Queen or King of the Light Kingdom, has one of the 4 Elements bestowed on him from birth. Then there is the Sidekick of the Ruler, he or she has astonishing Sword Skills and is a master of Arts in the Light sword. There are dozens of Light Priests, but only one High Priest or Priestess, this depends on the fact if there is a Queen or King of Light. These Rules abide to the Shadow Kingdom too, except that they are called Shadow Warriors and Shadow Priests, and so on, and so on. Isabella, the last Queen of Light, had a tragic ending because there was a war between the 2 Kingdoms. The Shadow King, Carlos, wanted the Power for himself over both Kingdoms, but Isabelle stood before him, trying to find balance and peace, but to no avail. He used her Priestess, her Best Friend, Mariah against her, he tricked her and used her weakness against her. The Sidekick at that time, was her Lover, Alexander, but he got killed in front of Isabelle, like all her light warriors... The day where she lost everything, was the day she died. But when one Ruler dies, the other will not have much time himself. Because there is a System in which new Rulers get chosen. If the Shadow Ruler has its first child, be it a son or a daughter, that firstborn will be the new Ruler and inherit the power of the ruler, but the next Light Ruler is not chosen like that. He or She is chosen by actions and pureness of the soul. The Qualities of a Ruler are born within them and they have immeasurable power of light. It is a cycle of rebirth, but with a new personality, the power of light is reborn. This cycle changes every time a new ruler gets chosen, meaning the next ruler of the light kingdom, if he has a child, this child will be the new future ruler and the Shadow Kingdom will have a chosen Ruler by his or her actions. The two rulers are linked by their souls, meaning they will know their true Form and Power the first time they meet, only they know each other's true form, because it is a bond between souls. After Isabella died, giving up her soul, sealing the Kingdom away, protecting it from the shadow ruler, her soul as a Ruler of Light got reborn in the new generation. The shadow King, Carlos searched for the new ruler, in an attempt to stop the cycle, but with no avail. Almost 16 years later, and 5 new Light Warriors realize they have power bestowed on them, but wait...5? There are four elements, so how come there are 5? The Wind Warrior, Mauve is a kind-hearted girl, who is the mature one out of the 5. The Earth Warrior, Yuan-Ha, is the loudest of them all, and one might say the rather bold and aggressive one. The Water Warrior, Lorelee, is the smartest and tactical one in the group. The Fire Warrior or rather Warriors, Julianna and Alemy, were best friends since elementary school. Julianna is an open book, she is kind, and helps anyone she can. Alemy is a shy girl, a bookworm, and timid, but she will do anything to protect her loved ones. The Sidekick is Alemy's childhood friend, Ren. He does not talk much but has a kind heart, and he holds a big secret that burdens him. One of the 5 must be the next Ruler and they will find out who the next queen is throughout their journey, to become strong warriors beside their Queen, who will take back her rightful place on the throne as the Ruler of the Lightkingdom as she will face Carlos and find the new Shadow King. Their story starts before they find out about their powers and life as middle school students.
