Walking into Onyx’s lawyer’s office was like walking to the signing of my death sentence. There was a whole zoo in my stomach and no amount of self-affirmations and mantras could stop me from feeling this way.
It wasn’t that hard to find the office, I had passed it a bunch of times on my way to Surburbia. It was on the same street as Renegade and had a similar layout plan, the only difference was that it wasn’t as tall and it didn't smell like a billion dollars. It smelled normal.
