ONYX The festivities were on in full swing inside the venue as I meandered from one seated guest to the other solo. I grabbed a champagne flute from one of the servers and looked around for any signs of Sarah but there were none. My mother had whisked her away an hour and thirty minutes ago for an outfit change and I hadn’t seen her since.
