INFINITE LOVE

CHAPTER 2

MANIK

     At 6 am sharp, the alarm started ringing. Manik woke from his slumber quickly and switched off his alarm. He checked his mail and reverted to some of them. Getting out of the bed, he went to freshen up.

      He went to the gym, stituated in his mansion and exercised for an hour. Coming out of the gym, he had a perpetual scowl on his face. The phone started ringing in Manik's hand. He checked the caller and immediately took the call seeing that the caller was his PA, Aman. Manik knew Aman would not dare call Manik at this hour if it wasn't something important. He just uttered one word, "Speak."

       "Sir, th-the presentation that w-we had made ye-yesterday.....Has .. has been deleted."stammered Aman. Manik roared," What?!! How the bloody hell did that happen?!" Aman was so scared that he couldn't reply. This fueled Manik's anger even more. "Answer me, you fool!! Wait, don't bother. Just find the i***t that deleted the presentation. I have a backup copy, that I'll mail you right now." 

         Saying that, Manik ended the call, not waiting for Aman's answer. He mailed the presentation to Aman and went to take a shower. He came out of the bathroom and went into his huge closer to search for clothes. He chose one of his usual suit, in which he looked totally dapper.

          Manik went down and saw that his cook had his breakfast ready in a tray. He ate the breakfast, sitting on the dining table. The cook , who also acted as his housekeeper, served him orange juice, which he quickly gulped down. He grabbed his car keys and went down to the garage, still in a foul mood

          His phone rang again. Agitated, he looked at the caller ID, and picked up the call quickly. It was a call from his gang the Fab5,after talking to them ,His spirits quickly lifted and he left the building in a good mood until he noticed the time. s**t! He thought. I'm gonna be late. 

              Today for a change he took the driver seat a drove to the office

NANDINI 

             The incessant ringing of the alarm was disturbing nandu's precious sleep.It was irritating,to a point where,she wanted to throw the alarm clock out of the window.But then,she suddenly remembered what day it was.She woke with a start and felt tremendously happy,because today ,she was going to start working in the cafe.

              Getting out of the bed ,she went running to Maa whom,she had yet to tell about the job.Nandu called out to Maa and heard Maa asking her to come in the garden.

               Maa was sitting on a bench reading the newspaper.She was surprised,seeing Nandu up so early.Maa asked ,"Nandu ,why are you up at this time?You don't usually get out of bed till 8:00 o 'clock" .Nandu smiled and replied,"Maa,you won't believe it,but I have gotten a job at a cafe.The cafe seems to be famous so I'm hoping to get a good salary."

                Maa was estatic on learning this,but she was also scared for Nandu ,as she knew how nandu's previous boss was.She said ," I am happy child,but are you about this ?You do remember the incident that happened at your last job , don't you? I don't want you to reach in the same state which, you were few years back."

                 "Yes Maa,I am sure . Besides,when I went to apply for the job , I asked the employees there about their boss and they said that their boss is a pretty great woman.So today,I am starting as  the first day of my job there.Wish me luck." Nandu said excitedly

                  Maa wished her luck and Nandu rushed off to take a bath and got ready.When she came out of the bathroom,she realised that she didn't have anything good ,to wear on the first day of her job.But,the problem was solved,when she heard a knock on her door and Maa came in carrying a box with her.She said ,"what is that Maa?" Maa replied," Dear ,these are new clothes for you that I had saved to give to you on your birthday.But I think , you need them more now."

                  Nandu quickly opened the box and took out the clothes and , she said hugging Maa tightly  ,"Thank you,thank you,thank you soo much Maa!"and she went into the bathroom .Maa just smiled and left her to get ready .After sometime time Nandu came outside wearing  a pretty leggings and whitekurta having red embroidery.She asked Maa about Maa ," Maa !See how, m looking?"

                 Maa just smiled and told her that she looks beautiful, and told  to eat breakfast.Hearing about  food, nandu scrunched her face and said "maa I don't want to eat breakfast . I will be late " maa just smile as if she know that Nandu is going to say the same reason,  as she know that, food and Nandu don't get along well....She just made her sit and started feeding her morsel and Nandu ate making faces ...After finishing the breakfast she the house 

saying bye to maa....

This time also no manan meet .....

But don't worry they will meet soon....
