SKY I want to get a head start on the day, but my legs feel heavy after my wolf decided to take an unexpected run near the campus last night. I must have enjoyed the hunt because when I pull back my blanket, I find feathers scattered everywhere. My stomach turns. Maybe my wolf has a taste for birds. Horrified, I brush the feathers away and try not to think about what else I might have eaten while in wolf form—rodents, rabbits, bats, or whatever else she likes to chase. After brushing my teeth, I twist my hair into a messy bun and take a deep breath. There’s one good thing about being here at college.
