Sophia's POV
A maid came to call me. She opened the door without my permission, glaring at me when she saw me touching the wall.
"Miss Sophia. What do you think you are doing?".
I quivered and pulled back, Her harsh tone was scary to me. It felt like I was being scolded by my father again. I ran to my bed. "I'm sorry", I lowered my head.
She seized me from head to toe and then sneered. "Before you get us into trouble, please inform the boss". She went back to adjust the painting and covered the crack.
"Again, I am sorry." She paid me no mind, "Your bath is ready, please follow me".
The walk down the stairs was a quiet one. It seemed as though the entire house was empty and when I poked my head in the kitchen, I could only see two maids conversing.
