Sophia's POV.
Weeks of searching for the team that had gone to find my mate and we couldn't find them.
Things went on smoothly in the pack and everyone acted normal but I was not myself.
Brandon had sent an additional team to find them since his gamma wolf and the rest of his warriors were there. It was also customary to bring the dead bodies of the soldiers so we could bury them.
Every day, I waited by the door as the pack went out in hopes of coming back with them but as I sat every day, I was also disappointed every time.
One day, I could not take it anymore so I decided to make my way. I rose from my bed, packed my bags, and began walking out of the mansion.
Sandra caught me at the gate.
"Sophia, where are you going?". She gripped my arm.
"To find my mate*.
I slapped her hand
