Derrick's POV
I woke up to see Sophia lying peacefully beside me. I had been so embarrassed from last night that I faked being asleep just so everything would be normal. I floated on my feet and lightly stepped into the closet as I took some clothes out. I changed into them and grabbed a jacket.
I had to get ready for the full moon that was coming.
If I was lucky enough, I could use my powers to heal Sophia too.
As I stepped out of my castle, I found my maids chit-chatting. As usual, when they saw me, they all stopped and bowed.
"Make sure she's comfortable. I'll be gone for a few minutes. If you give her a reason to be upset, you won't like me", I threw them a malicious stare and descended the stairs.
