Sophia's POV.
I found it very disturbing that Derrick had given me a bead and a key. He was very specific. Do not lose them. I was not sure what it was for and when I asked him, he kept saying everything would reveal itself in time, that I needed to be patient. It worried me a lot.
"Why won't you tell me?". I asked.
"It is best if you do not know. That way, you would be safe". He gave me a cheerful smile before he left.
He took his bags out of the closet and told me he was going to see me the day after.
"Where would I be? Where would you be going?" I shot at him before he could reach the door.
"That's not important. Make sure you can stay wherever you want but tomorrow, come back to my room and try hiding in my closet. It's the best option for you". His voice echoed through the room
