Sophia's POV.
"You're bluffing". I shot at him. He held his stomach as he let out loud sounds of laughter, "You must not know me, I don't play".
Brandon could see I was becoming agitated by this and so he scooped me up in one sweep and took me inside.
"Let me go!", I fought him while we climbed the stairs as I kicked, pushed, bit, and hit him. Tears rolled down my eyes. I needed to go back.
"Relax, he's only bluffing, he will not do that".
Brandon placed a hand on my shoulder. He tried to calm me down. "I know him".
"You might know him but I know my stepfather. He can influence anyone at all and I feel Caleb will go talk to him. Father will get to know of the truth and have me hunted down and killed again."
