Sophia's POV I sat by Derrick, watching him staring at his place of food that he did not bother to touch. "Like I said, I'm not a fan of too many questions and you are asking too many questions, my dear. Have you made up your mind? "That's the reason I asked how we were going about it?" I shot back, but softly. He was in charge of my existence and so my voice could not be louder than his. "I need to hear the right words from you. Do you or do you not?". I drew a deep breath, "I do". I felt awkward saying it. It felt like I was saying 'I do' to someone at the altar. I shook myself back to reality and nodded. "I agree to having a child for you, in exchange for a wish that you said you would grant. May we begin?". His bland expression softened into a smile which made my belly fold.
