“Leave," Damien kicked Elora out of the room immediately he walked in. I remained emotionless and watched as she dragged her feet on the floor.
She was becoming daring these days. I didn't fail to notice the short glare she threw at Damien before walking out of the door.
Damien took a seat beside me while the doctor checked up on me.
“What do you think, Doc? Will he be able to recover in two days?" Damien asked.
I raised an eyebrow at him, questioning his insinuation. I am the one injured here. I should be the one demanding that question from the doctor, not him.
