I woke up abruptly as I felt a touch on my forehead. I breathed heavily, rolling my eyes as I looked around to see who it was. My gaze fell on Damien as he walked away from me. I heaved a heavy sigh, stretching on the bed and yawning like I was a baby. Yeah, that was practically the kind of life he had subjected me to.
"Why are you sleeping at this time of the day? How will you be able to sleep at night?" he asked, and I took a deep breath, wiping my face with my palm. I didn't want to give a reply because I knew my reply was going to land me in serious deep s**t.
"Am I talking to someone deaf or dumb? Why did you suddenly lose the ability to talk?" I slowly tilted my head to look at him. He had a frown on his face, and I was forced to rethink what I wanted to say.
