Adam POV:
I can't help but laugh a little at what Jake just said and Rebeckas expression.
"Wow, nice one Jake." Lisa says and roll her eyes.
"What? I didn't hear any of you say you were one."
"I litterarly said that we needed to know if she were a werewolf too. TOO." Lisa says. Rebeckas eyes goes back and fro between them.
"What is happening?" Rebecka whispers. I take her hand in mine and enjoy the sparks.
"We just found out that you are a werewolf." I say to her.
"Is that a good thing?"
"Yes it is. That means that you are not crazy." Jake cuts in and I glare at him. "What? She's not crazy. That's good!"
"I already knew I wasn't crazy. At first I thought I was but then I was just scared that everyone else would think that and lock me up again." Rebecka says.
"What do you mean again? I thought that you came here right when the police brought you in?" Lisa asks and Rebecka shakes her head.
"They held me in this small room. There was no windows or furnitures. Just matrasses on the walls and on the floor. I don't know how long I was in there but I don't want to go back."
"Your not going back." I say and she looks at me.
"I'm going back to my old room?" She asks and I nod.
"For now. Until the paperwork is done and I can take you home."
"Why? Why would you take me home with you?" She furrows her brows and looks at me.
"Beacuse your mine and you belong with me. Has Stella ever talked about your mate?" She shakes her head.
"I just started talking to her."
"Wait, how old are you?" Jake asks.
"I'm 26." She says and we all are surprised.
"Your 26 and your wolf just started talking to you?" Lisa asks.
"No she's been talking to me since I was 14 maybe, but I haven't listened until now. I always pushed her back."
"But when you shifted? You must have talked to her then?" Rebecka looks at Lisa and blushes.
"I've never..." She trails off and looks down at her hands. I can't believe this.
"You've never shifted?" I ask chocked.
"No. It hurt so much, I made it stop and I have never let it happen again. Sometimes I almost loose my grip but I have always been able to stop. " All three of us just stare at her. We're speechless. "What?" She asks.
"I've never even heard of someone who can stop the shift." Jake says and rubs his chin.
"I want to try something." I say and sit on the bed so I'm facing her.
"Try what?" She asks.
"I want you to let Stella take over." She shakes her head. "Not shift. Just let her take controll. I will let my wolf out so maybe it will be easier for you and Stella."
"I don't know..." She hesitates.
"Trust me." She bites her lip and nod. I close my eyes and let Adrian come forth.
"Hello dear mate." He says. His voice is low and rumbling. Her eyes go wide as I open my eyes. The warm chestnut brown is gone, instead there are endless pits of black. She watches me carefully.
"Adam?"
"No, I'm Adrian. I must say he let me meet you much sooner than I expected."
"You wanted to meet me?" She asks.
"Very much. I've seen you through his eyes but to be able to se you myself, to feel you. Oh, the things I want to do to you."
"Adrian..." Jake warns when he sees Rebeckas discomfort.
"I'll be good. I will behave." He says and grins at Jake. "Now, let the sweet Stella out so I can talk to my mate. It shouldn't be that hard. I'm betting she is dying to come out." He shifts his eyes to Rebecka again. Her hands tremble and she looks between Jake, Lisa and Adrian.
"I can't hear her. She's not there." She says with a shaky voice and I quickly regain controll over my body and push Adrian back. He growls at me but I don't care.
"When did you hear her last?" I ask and take her hands in mine.
"When you were in my room. I yelled at her beacuse she made me tell you about her and I pushed her back. Then I fainted and now I can't hear her."
"It's okay, she will come back. I wipe away the tear that falls down her cheek with my thumb and unconsciously she leans into the touch. My heart swells with joy. When she looks up at me and she realizes what she's doing she backs away and blushes.
"Jake, leave us." I say through the mindlink.
"With pleasure." He puts his arm around Lisas waist and leads her out the door.
"Don't shy away from me." I say and put my other hand on her cheek. Her skin is so smooth and flawless.
"I don't even know you. And you don't know me." She whispers to me.
"We don't have to. We are made for eachother. We get to know one another as time goes by. Don't fight this." I try to sound confident.
"I don't want to fight this. I just feel that it is too good to be true."
"I can't believe I've searched for you for he past six years and you were right here. On my own territory this whole time."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be. I have you now. And I'm never going to let you go."
