Rin’s Point of View
Rin still felt an ache in her heart. She was sobbing as she noticed that she was not alone in the room. She already knew who the person was without turning her head. She slowly wiped away her tears and then turned her head towards Haru.
He was sitting on the sofa but his eyes were on her. Rin could see that he was worried.
“The moment I wake up, I worry him.” She thought.
Haru was still looking at her and then she saw him opening his mouth.
“Hi.” Haru smiled after he said that. Looking at him, Rin also smiled. Her heart was still aching for that man from her dreams. Was it really just a dream? She still was not sure if it was a dream or something else. She decided to keep the thought at the other end of her brain.
She remembered how when she regained consciousness after sleeping for almost two days, Haru was beside her and fed her. It would be too rude if she stayed lost in her own world.
Haru asked, “How are you feeling now?”
Rin replied, “I feel much better now” and smiled at him.
He smiled and replied, “That is good. Are you hungry? Want me to get you something?”
Rin thought about it. She then replied, “Not right now. I want to ask you something. Can I?”
Haru nodded and Rin continued, “Isn’t there anything you want to ask me about what I did?”
Then Rin remained silent. She could hear her heart beating really fast. She knew she would have to tell it one day. If she had to tell somebody about it, she wanted it to be Haru. She was partially prepared. As she waited for the reply, she felt a hand on her head.
She looked up and saw Haru smiling. His smile was comforting. His dark blue eyes were looking into hers. Rin felt like his eyes were telling her that everything will be fine.
He spoke, “Not right now. You can tell me when you are ready. And until then, I will be with you. Always okay?”
Rin nodded.
She felt better, she really did.
