CADE
When I woke up this morning it was still dark and my throat felt like I was swallowing thousands of rocks. Sleeping in the cold was probably not the best idea but having Logan tucked into my side was well worth it. She started to stir beside me.
“Oh my god, my throat” she groaned trying to clear it. s**t.
“Yeah, same” I smiled looking down at her. Her wavy hair was sprawled out behind her, covering my arm that was still securely wrapped around her.
“What time is it?” She asked leaning up. I glance at my watch.
“2:30am” I say groggily.
“Shoot, let’s go back to the house” she says standing up. I nod and we make our way back to the house. The grass is covered in dew and crickets chirped around us.
