LOGAN I hadn’t slept well the last few nights. I was dreading my calculus III class today. I didn’t even have Kristen as back up. I worked my normal morning shift at ‘Rise and Grind’. Every blonde head of hair that came through the door had my ears perking up. “Logan!” Sam yells from the back. I slowly make my way back to his office. “What’s up, Sam?” I ask shoving my hands into my apron pockets. “I know it’s your first day back but you gotta pick up your feet. We are short staffed and finals week is coming up. That means extended shop hours to give students and professors their go-go juice. You understand?” He shouts. I nod, looking down. “Look, you’re one of my best workers. Whatever this is..sort it out. Now, get out of here. I’ll see you at 4:15” he says. I pull off my apron
