“All those that want Lauren to be captain?” I asked next and all 15 other hands went up.
“Lauren wins.” Pearl and I said together.
“And now that I’m captain I would like to nominate Sara as vice president and Kat as spirit leader.” Lauren said making all the girls happy since she picked someone from the old squad and new. Though I didn’t know that Kat was on the team since she was at my house the other day.
“She joined yesterday but wasn’t invited to practice till today.” Pearl answered my unspoken question.
