Catrina’s POV -2 DAYS LATER-
I was finally released from the hospital this morning and am currently at the Maddox house alone. Mr. and Mrs. Maddox went to work even though they wanted to stay home and keep an eye on me. My friends wanted to do the same, but I told them to go to school. Thankfully, I had things to do since they had collected my school work for me, so at least I won’t be behind. I also kicked them all out of the house because I needed some time to think and just be alone. I was really getting annoyed with having everyone hovering around me like I was going to break. I think if I can survive everything that my Aunt did to me over the years, I can survive anything. After getting home and taking a much-needed shower, I got dressed in an old T-shirt and yoga pants.
