Nico’s POV
Dean and I walked inside the school away from Erik. I wanted to kill him. We got out of our cars and headed to the school doors this morning, and he was talking about how he was going to ask Trina out and show her what a real man is like and that she would leave me for him. The moment I heard that, I saw red and lunged at him, pinning him to the wall. Dean was pissed too but wasn’t trying to kill him. Instead, he was trying to keep me from losing control around tons of humans.
‘You good Nico?’ Dean asked through the mind link as we got to our lockers.
‘NO! I want to go back out there and rip his head off.’
‘You can’t do that, and you know it.’ He tried to reason with me. ‘Look, I don’t like what he was saying either, but I chose to ignore him. You need to do the same.’
