Some hours earlier Giles’s POV The phone was ringing. I should get that, I mumbled to myself, trying to get my limbs to reach out and do what I commanded them to. But they didn’t want to budge. For a moment, I wondered why. That’s until I realized that I was curled up on a tiny couch and all my limbs had gone numb from being in the same position for too long.
