LJ’s POV We rested our head on our desk, groaning as a familiar migraine was working its way from the back of our skull to the front of our eyes. It was the day before the summit and the Palace was humming with activity. There were a million things to see to and everything had to be run by us. And for once we couldn’t hide behind “LJ, the glorified coffee-maker”, but had to stay inside our actual office inside the Palace. Giles was working double time acting as our assistant as well as our counselor when dealing with everything that had to happen. We needed to either give the guy a raise or give him a promotion.
