“He’s in Sin City?” Becky nearly squealed my ears off. “That’s so cool!”
“You sound way too excited about this,” I replied with a smirk, trying to massage my throbbing eardrums. But the smile on my lips didn’t reach my eyes. I was worried about LJ.
The only reason we could think of that would have LJ rushing out of the Palace like a bat out of hell the day before the most important day of our lives – and I mean the ENTIRETY of every pack on the freaking continent! – was that he needed to either take or defend the title of alpha.
But apparently, it wasn’t so…
I hadn’t met any of his siblings--- well, I’d sniffed out Landon and his mate Lexi, but that didn’t really count. And from everything that LJ had told me about his siblings, they would go through fire for each other. S
