LJ’s POV
We opened the door to Landon’s underground office--- just in time to dodge a vampire flying through it.
Now--- that’s something you don’t see every day!
We blinked, watching as the vampire slipped across the floor before he was picked up by Landon’s enforcers and pulled to his feet. We then craned our necks to peer inside the office. Inside Landon was sheeting. His fangs were showing, and his eyes were black and red like they were when both his beasts were present.
Well, someone was pissed…!
“Bad timing?” we asked--- and couldn’t help but grin. Oh, don’t get us wrong. An angry Landon was a sight that could make immortal men shiver in fear. But being his little brother--- well, let’s just say we knew that expression well….
