Chapter 6 : Transitioning

Hours had passed ssince Exist had fallen asleep under the warm fur blankets that lined the top of my silk sheeted matress. I promised to stay by her side, So she felt safe enough to talk to the lady in her dream and find out what she needed too. As the sun now crept up over the far mountains in the distance, I knew she would be waking up sometime very soon.

And, I was right.. It had only been minutes after that thought that Exist started to fidget around and begin to wake up. I looked down at her, and soon her big blue eyes fluttered open, still adjusting to the morning light beams now shining bright on her face.

I refrained from questioning her further about her dream, Even though surely i was indeed very curious about the answers.

The first words out of Exists mouth left me staring at her blankly trying to understand the words i was hearing. She said "Ami - Vext - anillum - momendullo - avex - du - viv - a - dule - um " after speaking those words a bright irradecesent green light appeared coming from the window, The light shot at her like a lazer slicing through the air in the room leaving dust particles floating in its glem, As soon as the green light dissapeared into Exists eyes, Another second light, this one bright red, seemed to have formed from the same area of the room by the window and i could see the bright light travel as fast as the speed of lightning until it too met Exists face before it dissapated into her eyes, adter the red - yet aother stream of illuminating light shot towards her, this time the light was golden yellow..

Exist seemed to be caught in some kind of transe like state as each of the light flew threw the room connecting into her eyes before dissapearing somewhere, inside her mind, im assuming.. I had no idea what was happening, and also even less of an idea on how i could stop it.. It didnt seem to be causing her any pain though, So i decided to just sit close to her and watch until finally the light show seemed to be over, and Exist began snapping outta in and back into reality with me.

She looked at me, And i looked at her, And Before mt eyes I witnessed the most strangest thing i had ever seen in my whole vampire life on this earth. Exist, started growing.. She bega yelling out in pain, And i quickly jumped off the bed and ran to the side at which she was sitting at.. As i reached her, i grabbed for her hands, but some kind of electric force zapped me with such a strong current it sent my body flying across the room and my back met the cold stone slab wall before i limply fell to the floor in a pain that gripped my body sending electricity coarsing through my entirety. I was paralyzed, I could only watch as Exist began to levitate over my bed.. Now looking as if she was nearly 18 or 19 years of age, Nearly a full grown adult...

She was levitating on what seemed to be a thick cloud of nearly transparent fume or smoke of some kind, and inside the giant cloud that kept her afloat i could see beautiful rips of electricity of every color. I wasnt sure if what i was seeingg was beautiful or terrifying..

As soon as the cloud under her decipated, She was left sitting very still on the edge of the bed.. A creature of some kind, Now somehow looking as if she was almost 15 years older then she had been only minutes prior before the weird lights started.

It took her a minute to register what had happened to her, And at the time i had not yet caught on, Since i was still only beginninning to feel the tingeling coming back to my toes and fingertips at this point. She heard my thoughts, I had to of been trying to say her name, but unable as i was to tallk aloud, I had to of been thinking her name inside my head.. Because she looked over in my direction taking in what had just happened to me as she registered my body laying completly still on the floor.

She ran over and knelt at my side, and i started getting the feeling back in my feet and arms, enough i was able then to atleast sit and hold myself up on my own.

"I can hear your thoughts,.." Exist said..

"What, ..? How ? I replied..

"Im not sure.. but i can, as clar as you sound if you were to be speaking to me.." she continued to explain..

"As soon as i can walk again, we must g speak to the king about what just happened..He is never going to believe me..Im not sure i even believe all of this yet and i saw what just happened first hand" i quickly said..

"Are you sure thatll be a good idea, To tal to your father about this.. We dont even know what that was.."

:Well, Little one, I do have some idea of what it could of been, But this is the first time ive even seen it happen in person..Until now i believed that The Legends Of The Ceeiers was just that, nothing but a legend.. a story the adults and elders used to tell us children when i was young.. To scare us or whip us into line when we acted out..But it was only just a myth..Nothing more then a folk tale..."

"I know my father wont believe this at first, But after you show him your abilities and prove to him what your able to do now, He deffinantly will want to hurry your transitional ceremony up, possibly even make us begin the process as soon as tonight.. Think your up for that ?"

Exist just looked at me and as soon as she heard that, she smiled the bigest most excited smile on her face. For becoming a vampire like me had been what she has loonged for nearly her entire life. "Yes, im ready..Lets go see the king" She said. And off we went, quickly casing the flght of stairs down to the kings corridor, Failing to even knock as we were so excited about what great news this was.
