A new beginningWhen they first set foot in the apartment in Conegliano together, Anna showed Marco around proudly. On the ground floor there was a large open space with a white bookcase that divided the kitchen from the living room, as well as a green-tiled bathroom. A wide wooden spiral staircase took from the living room to the floor above, which included two spacious bedrooms, each with its own balcony, a small study and a smaller bathroom with a hot tub.
Marco loved the apartment, despite Anna’s apologies for the lack of curtains, lamps and decorative objects. She had an idea for their home: she wanted to bring in the forests of Cansiglio and their colors in the different seasons.
