CHAPTER 2

I heard the voice again "stop right there". I began walking faster, I successfully walked through the gate, then I heard my dad's voice from the speaker screaming "catch her". I ran as fast as my legs could carry me.There was no turning back this time, I needed to get to Bella, her house was 50 Metres away. I was getting a bit exhausted but I had to push through. At last, I muttered as I got to her house. But for some unknown reason her house was a bit noisy and I could see a lot of people trooping in and out. I knew for a fact that Bella loves organising parties, but I was a bit surprised she didn't inform me.

The people here seem strange, and they communicate weirdly. Their nails were longer than normal. Is it possible that they are not humans. No, it can't be, that's probably a figment of my imagination.

I walked through the door and felt even more uncomfortable. Why is this party strange? Who are all these people? Were the questions I kept asking myself. I didn't recognise any of them as Bella's friends.

I was still deep in my thoughts when I bumped into a girl. She just shoved me aside and kept on walking further to where the crowds were. I totally ignored her and then began my search for Bella.

Fast forward

I sat at the wine bar totally avoiding those strange people. I tried phoning Bella but I forgot my phone. Good thing it wasn't with me, my dad could use it to track me. I felt someone tapped me, it was a man.

Hey beautiful, he said. I wanted to ignore but I decided to chat a bit with him since I had nothing doing. He gave me a glass of wine and sat beside me. I could feel his lustful gaze on my skin.

I knew at the deepest level of my psyche that this man was up to no good, just then another man who looked just like him walked over to where I was sitted and stood beside me. They were both staring at me lustfully, licking their lower lips and smiling which irritated me.

They don't really know who they are messing with, I know how to deal with men like them. One of them made an attempt to touch me but I retreated and emptied the whole glass of wine on him. The other one tried to grab me but I kicked him in his in-between.

I knew for a fact I wasn't safe here, because no one seemed to care and they were all minding their own business. Something was off, these people seems a bit weird. I was about being molested but nobody dared to talk, who are these guys? I immediately took to my heels and they began to chase me.

I ran pass the crowds, but suddenly bumped into a man, I almost fell but he caught me mid-air. I stared directly into his eyes, it was golden, but if you look deeply you would see flames just like the colour of fire. He was the real definition of perfect.

He had a cold yet adorable eyes, coupled with his smooth face and his sharp jaw line, his full red lips which looked kissable and cute. Surprisingly he looked like the man in my dream. I couldn't believe my eyes. I didn't get enough chance to keep on staring and drooling over him because he shoved me aside and walked pass me.

I felt heartbroken, he was the same man as the one I dreamt of. I couldn't be mistaken, I heard the footsteps of those two fools, so I began running once more. I got to a corridor and there were different doors, I couldn't start looking for Bella now.

The footsteps were drawing nearer, if I were to be on the streets I would have dealt with them using pepper spray. But I am not with it right now. I pushed one of the doors open and entered into a beautiful room, I didn't know Bella had such a room in her house. I saw a man standing and facing the balcony backing me.

I walked to where he was and then stood at his front. It was the same guy the one from my dream, the one who saved me from falling. I made to speak but I heard his deep voice, sounding so cute but cold, saying "who let you in? Who gave you the right to come here? His voice alone could turn a lady on.

I stood there helplessly looking at the man in front of me, he was the man of my dreams. I tried to speak again but my voice failed me and the only words that left my mouth were "the man of my dreams". He raised an eyebrow and slowly said to my face " Get out " or you might regret coming here.

I knew for a fact I was very stubborn, and my dad wants me to get married and this man was exactly the type of man I wanted so I am not going to let him go so easily. I decided to rizzle him a bit by using some pick up lines.

I can't believe you are human, it's like heaven is missing an angel and when I finally saw you I knew you were the fallen angel, I spoke out shamelessly. I am known for being blunt and straight forward, I go after whatever I like and that is what I am doing right now.

But I to my surprise he got even angrier and his voice became hoarsed and he repeated those two words "Get out". I knew for a fact that I was bad at pickup lines but he shouldn't get this angry. I was about leaving when I saw those two fools again, they were already in the room. I quickly hugged him from behind and whispered to him "please save me". But he didn't reply, instead he repeated the words "get out".

I need you to help me, I replied. He just kept mute and didn't say a word. I was getting a bit angry, then those two fools spoke up "hey dude, give the girl to us, once we are done having fun with her we would pass her over to you". I am not a toy, so I won't allow myself to be used as one. I hugged him tightly, then I heard him say "leave with them".

What! I screamed inwardly, if I go with them I would be brutally r***d. I immediately let him go and stood in front of him and gave him a pleading look, but he was not buying it. I even pouted but his eyes were still cold. Who is this man? If it were to be other men, once they see me this way they would want to help because of how beautiful I looked.

Okay let's make a deal, I voiced out. I saw his eyes spark and he gave me the attention I needed. What deal, he asked. I want you to save me from these fools and in return I would do whatever you want. I said.

He gave a wry smile, are you sure about this? he questioned. I am not forcing you to cut a deal with me, you can just walk out of here. He said. No, I am being serious about this, I replied. Then I will accept this deal but don't go back on your words, he said. I nodded in return.

Then I heard him say to those fools "leave her". It sounded more like a command, like he had the authority to do so. But they kept on ranting, I heard one of them say "Don't you know who we are? We are the "DOUBLE A" brothers. We are the second in command after Lucifer.

If you choose to stand in our way then you are courting your death. Lucifer! I almost screamed but swallowed it in, Lucifer is the devil, could it be that they are demons.

Even the man I turned to for help might also be a demon. My instinct wasn't wrong, I found every one strange. Why would Bella host a party with demons attending, could it be that she is also a demon??

I made to sneak away from the man but he grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him. Then he turned to look at the men, but to my surprise the two fools who were bragging about how powerful they were immediately bowed down and the next word that followed almost made me black out.

Lucifer, we are sorry, we didn't know she was yours, please spare our lives.

Wait, did I just hear Lucifer. So this man is not just an ordinary demon, but he is Lucifer in question. He is the devil. I know he can save me, but the fact that I had just cut a deal with the devil is killing me. I was just drooling over the devil, I even called him the man of my dreams.

I just made a deal with the devil, I can't escape without fulfilling his condition....
