I went to the room to wake Sebastian up so he could check what was going on.
"Seb, I heard a strange sound outside," I said to him.
He stirred, using his hands to rub the sleep from his eyes.
"Sorry for disturbing you," I said to him.
"No worries," he answered.
"What do you mean by a strange sound?" he asked.
"I'm not sure, but it sounded like a wolf in pain," I said to him.
He went out of the room and told me to stay put and not to come out.
I was pacing around the room, waiting for Sebastian to come back and explain what was going on, but I didn't see any sign of him.
I was getting impatient, so I couldn't stay in the room any longer. I went to the living room and there was no one there.
