“It’s done, I sent her the video as requested, but things escalated more than we planned,” I told the receiver.
“What do you mean by that?” the voice asked.
“They have reopened the case, don’t you think we should tell the boss since it doesn't just involve just the three of us any longer. We have two detectives on the case and a slip from either of us will get us in trouble and we will be exposed in no time.” I informed them.
The voice remained silent for a while, it was just the sound of breath that could be heard from their side and I waited patiently for the voice to speak up.
