TRISHA'S POV
“Ahh! Let go of me you b***h,”she hissed in pain as I tugged her hand harder.
“Try this next time, you wouldn't be able to use your hand for a long while.”I shoved her away with her back hitting the bathroom door.
“You crazy woman!”she raged louder at me as she huffed, rubbing the hands that I held.
“Aren't you shameless to be back? Why are you back after all these years? What is your endgame?”Lola fired at me.
Not wanting to be part of her madness,I turned my heel to go into the bathroom when she asked a question.
“How is it possible for you to have a child that looks like Philip? Is this one of your sick jokes to get a hold of Philip?”
Standing upright, she walked further to where I was standing,
“Philip isn't going to look your way. He had divorced and abandoned you because of me and he was sure going to do it again if that's the reason you are back! So you and that little thing of yours had better—
SLAP!
As I retracted my hand from her face, my entire system churned with Anger. She was about to open her mouth when she glanced past me and burst into sobs, falling to the ground.
What was wrong with her? I wondered. I was dumbstruck for a moment on her change of emotions. But suddenly a hand crashed my body to the wall.
“How dare you raise your hands on Lola?” The pain ran through my back to my head as I closed my eyes to take in the pain.
Opening my eyes, the women of the Carter’s were staring dagger at me with Becky's hand on my neck, then it dawned on me the reason for Lola's change in emotions.
Low chuckle escaped from my mouth as I forcefully shoved her hands off me. I had known that there was no way I could avoid seeing these women but I definitely wasn't expecting the encounter to be like this.
“Are you okay my dear?” I watched from my side glance as Aunt Susan, Philip’s Mom, helped Lola up.
I rolled my eyes at the awful sight.
“You’re really one hell of a desperate thing. How did you creep back into our lives? Not only manipulating Old Carter to have your way back here, you also manipulated him to make you the CEO? How unbelievable!” Aunt Gracie gritted her teeth as she threw those spiteful words at me.
“I knew you to be a malicious b***h, but I never knew you could be a scheming w***e,”Added Becky, pouring more venom at me.
I chortled as I stared at the Mom and daughter duo who were throwing appalling words at me. They had been part of misery back then.
“For someone who sleeps with men old enough to be her father, don't you think it's hypocritical to call someone a w***e?” My words were directed at Becky.
Dumbstruck, her face flushed with embarrassment and Anger as my words resounded in her ears.
“So you shouldn't throw words that would come back to bite you,”I chuckled, humoring myself with her embarrassed situation.
Ever Since my return to Bradford city, I had been keeping tabs on them, waiting for the right time to strike.
Becky had ended up being a w*****g b***h, sleeping with men,not because of money but because of her daddy issues from the information I had gathered.
Of course it was all a lie, she had ended up like that because of her over pampered and spoiled attitude and because she derived fun from it,that I'm sure.
If I could remember correctly, according to Philip back then, they had come to stay with the Carter's when her father eloped with his mistress, leaving her and her mom in a desperate situation. Her sister Susan had suggested for them to come live with her.
“And Aunt Gracie, don't you think it's high time you pipe down on this your pride reeking behavior? Considering the fact that you stole a client from your friend without her notice and even went ahead to slander her and her business to the client? How heinous of you?”
She glared at me in surprise. Of course she was wondering how I knew such information. She bowed her head in shame slowly.
“Do not speak to my mom in that manner!”Becky snapped at me, trying to find her face.
“Watch your tone, young woman!”I fired back at her. I gazed past her as my gaze fell on Philip’s Mom who was staring at me with a shock and amusing look this whole time.
“Stop being such a dramatic show off, it doesn't look proper,”my words directed at Lola.
“All right Ladies, it was nice meeting you guys. If you'll excuse me.”
I walked away from there, not caring to give them a second glance.
