TEN Gale pointed toward Cory, Tim, and Jesse standing under the red canopy of the Bistro and waved. “Marie, there they are. Let’s not jump right in with what Delia just told us. I’m not real thrilled with some of the things she said about me.” Marie replied, “Sure, that’s fine. It’s never easy learning things about yourself, especially if you don’t agree with them.” Gale smirked and rolled her eyes. “Gee, thanks.” Marie chuckled and crossed the street toward Cory. “Hey, you weren’t waiting here long, were you?” Cory smiled and wrapped his arm around Marie’s waist. “No, just a few minutes. The place is pretty busy, but Jesse got us a table.” “That’s great because I’m starving.” Gale grabbed Tim’s hand and pulled him close to her. “So how was your afternoon reading through case files?”
